Water in freezer

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

You are having either a defrost problem combined with the defrost drain being frozen over. Need to unplug and remove the rear panel in back of freezer to examine exactly what is happening. there is a drain in the middle of the defrost water collector and it is probably blocked - usually with ice. dry ot the tray and put very hot water in to melt the ice. you may have to do several times. do this until water flows away freely

sjlobo, sounds like your defrost drain pan is frozen over or has some gunk in it. When the unit goes into defrost the water is running onto the freezer floor and out the front. Remove the lower bin and check the drain hole. You may have to remove the freezer back panel. If you can, just use some very hot water and some sort of baster to unfreeze the drain. Check this first, Catriver..post back.
