My Seiko Pulsar Dress PJ6010 was running fine until it seemed like the battery was going out. I had it replaced and a few days later it stopped again. Could it be the battery gain? I have had other PJ6010 do the same.

I had the battery checked and its good. I have tried hand spinning the minute hand and it seems to help for a little while. Its only been about 9 months since I bought it. I may need to try the spray Idea because now it stops after a few minutes. What type of spray do you use and how could I spin it faster?

D you mean battery drain, not gain? Possible other causes are: Maybe you got an old battery put in, this does happen sometimes. Or, maybe the lubricants have dried out causing the gears to get sticky/gummy and causing excessive battery drain. I use an instrument than spin the movement and loosen up sticky gears after using a spray cleaner.

Pulsar analog/digital watch model number 130139

Clearly, it is faulty and has some type of parasitic drain. All watch batteries should last a couple of years. My Seiko last for about 3 to 4 years. Return it to Pulsar or a repair agent for repair.

372 or 373, they are interchangeable. It was listed under Seiko and not Pulsar.... the key model # is the vx43, the rest wasn't used. My source: MAXELL 373 SR916SW 1 Battery Official OEM 372 373

Hi fatmike19,

You can download the manual for your Seiko Pulsar Watch on this link. The instruction on how you will change the day and date is there.

Hope it helps.

Pulsar Ladies date watch, approx. 5years old. When battery changed, watch works properly for few days, then it stops. What can the problem be? Does it need cleaning and if so how much?

It is possible the battery was weak to begin with, have the battery replaced to see if that will cure the problem because this a much cheaper way than the alternative.

My pulsar watch (maybe 7 years old)runs intermittently. It runs most of the time I wear it and stops when I take it off. I had it cleaned. Cleaning didn't seem to help much.

is it battery or automatic or kinetic. first have battery checked if this still does not solve prob ask repairer for movement exchange instead of service as this way you get a new engine...if its automatic a service should have worked as pulsr use seiko movements wich are very good if its kinetic it needs a new capasitor as these last about 5yrs before the need to replace or attempted recharge.

I need a manual for a Pulsar watch calibur #7T62

Pulsar are made by Seiko and support can be obtained from their web site. (The number your quoted is a Seiko number- all Pulsar models seem to start with two or three letters).

Put "www.seiko.co.uk/support/instructionbooklets" into you search engine and you should come to the Seiko instructions list. Scroll down to find your watch and download the instructions.

Operating manual link for 5T52 dress watch 1995

See the manual for the Oakley GMT. That watch uses the Seiko movement, and the buttons work the same. See http://www.oakley.com/pdf/analog/gmt_manual.pdf

Relic Watch is running slow

Try replacing the battery.. Did you use Paypal... if the battery doesn't fix it... Contact the seller... ask for a refund (UNLESS - it said "as is - no warranty") .. then Use Paypal's services to get your money back

Seiko Kinetic that doesn't work

This watch does not have a battery, but has a capacitor which is rechargable. It is not taking a charge, and needs to be replaced. You should take it to a store with a watchmaker ON THE PREMISES. Or you could send it to: www.bscwatchrepair.com
