The water stops at the spout .You can replace your tub spout with one that dosnt have a diverter. It isnt neccisary though ,the one you have is fine,jest dont pull down on the diverter.
Well... being the curious gal I am, I already pulled down on the diverter. I cannot get it to go back, turning the water off did not solve it. When I turn the faucet on, no water comes out.
Did you ever get a real solution? Because I have the same issue, TUB ONLY with a shower diverter. I mean there has to be a way to get the pull down diverter to retract since it isn't connected to a shower. Help! I will figure this out I am determined.
