Be sure you have no spark ( 90% of the units that come into my shop for repair with the complaint of no spark- have a fuel issue). Be sure the spark plug is good.
If no spark then remove the ground wire from the module and check for spark again. You must use the recoil starter- spinning by hand is not sufficient. If still no spark then replace module. If there is spark with the ground wire disconnected then there is a problem with the kill switch or a bad wire.

Well obviously you need to check the spark plug for fire. Try the old one first, then a new one. If you still don't have fire, then you probably burnt out the coil.

Pull the plug out, connect it to the wire and lay the plug against the metal engine. Pull the starter cord and watch for spark at the plug.

Where do you find the serial number of a echo PB403T

Model and serial number are underneath the recoil starter, on the engine block. Tip the blow on it's non-engine side and look right above the tank from underneath the blower.

Not getting fire to plug, replaced ignition still no spark, echo pb-400e

With a good plug and a new switch there are a few remaining basic options. There is either a bad ignition coil or a bad wire or bad connection somewhere.

I hope this helps.

It wont start.

You might want to make sure that you have enough 'sparks' at the plug tips. And also make sure your
magneto is clean, and dry.

Echo backpack blower stops after 20 minutes

Make sure the fuel tank cap inlet valve is working properly, this will allow a vapor lock if it is not. Then check the fuel line in tank to make sure the pickup filter is not hung up in tank thereby allowing the fuel to get below the pickup. Also check the fuel line for holes. You can also try toro.com customer care, manuals and parts, type in model no. then get owners manual and see if in troubleshooting section it list this problem.
