I have a trace inverter DR 1512, I am having a problem with my system, which includes a 5000 watt gen, and solar power. When I am dry docked and have solar, system functions fine, when I lose solar and go to battieries it appears that i have low power, just as if no charge has reached batt. Solar panels producing good pwr, regulator operating properly.

The solar panel is just to charge your inverter,if it is charging and the inverter is on it will drain the current the solar panel is supplying to the batteries, this makes it look like it is not charging ,so i advice you to switch off you inverter when charging it,get another set of batteries connected to your solar panel then charge both, let them be separated so that the new one is not in use so that when solar is out you can switch to the other set of batteries

I have a 3000 watt inverter, with 3 plug in outlet..how much power do I get from 1 outlet..this equipment is hook to 6 12 volt battery charge by a 60amp controller and 3 solar panel of 265watt each???

You didn't mention what make or model of inverter. Lets assume you are in the USA and your inverter has standard the US 15 Amp three pin 125V NEMA 5-15 AC outlets. based simply on that you would have a max of 125 x 15 = 1875 watts per outlet.

Does the yamaha EF1000is inverter generator 1kva

it seems to be the standard that the rating or model ??1000 or ??1500 or ??2500 or ??5000 or??5500 or ??6500 is the kv rating of the gen-set regardless of straight or inverter
so if yours is EF1000 it will be 1000 watts or 1 kv
remember that most electric drills are 1000 watt units so a unit this small is mostly good for lights, charging batteries, small compressors for tyres

Issues with xantrex dr series inverter

Make sure the battery connection is solid, if the 12 V collapses at the inverter -> no power. If that is OK, make sure to apply first a known good load, like a light bulb, if that still causes a problem the inverter is broken :-(

I have a solar pump kit using an OASE Aquaflow 1500 submerged unit .The pump will spin when connected to a car battery but when attached to my solar panel which is producing 21 v on open circuit it will...

Hello Phil, what is the size of your solar panel? This pump draws 17 watts so, your panel must be 17 watts or greater. Remember a solar panel only puts out full power when in direct sunlight and facing the sun directly. You can read 21 volts but your amperage may not be full and this is why your pump is not running, not enough amps. I would recommend a minimum of a 20 watt panel.

Red fault light comes on after about 10 mins and

Had a similar problem with the same inverter BUT to include a failing cooling fan.

NOTE:
Take it back and get your money back as soon as possible.

Replaced it with a pure sine inverter 1500 watt that is kicking **** 24 seven days a week on my solar / wind power system.

RECOMENDATIONS:

UPGRADE.

Hope this tip helps.

Solar panels come in different ranges of wattages.Add up the wattage of different solar panels you get e.g. Ten 100W solar panels will give you a 1Kw solar system.
