I guess you lost your Home Page link to MSN, right? If so, use your browser--probably MS Internet Explorer--to go to www.my.msn.com and sign in.

From the MS IE top menu bar, select Tools, then Internet Options. In the General tab you will see Home Page on top and your home page address should be in the Address line. Click Use Current.

Your home page should be restored.

Internet explorer won't display home page error dell.v14.msn.com

Change your homepage.
Tools, internet options, and then you can put one or more home pages there.

I prefer to have it open a blank window, so I don't have to wait for anything to load before typing in the URL that I want to go to.

I can not seem to connect to msn.com. I can

Couple of things to check. Make sure you software firewall has not been accidentally set to block this site. If you are using an Antivirus program you will find advanced firewall settings in the configuration section.

Secondly, click Tools on the top Menu bar in Internet Explorer, and then choose Internet Options. Re-enter MSN as your homepage and click OK, in the event the URL has been changed from your original page.

Hope this helps.

Any help on the dell.vs11.msn.com home page hijacking?

My page was redirecting to dell.v14.msn.com, but your problem could be exactly the same as mine.

I’ve been wrestling with this problem for several days and finally found a solution that works for me. The redirect can be repaired by going to http://dell.my.msn.com. Just going to this page seems to reset the redirect of the msn.com home page to http://dell.msn.com.
I still have no answer to how to get rid of the redirect altogether, but at least I don’t get the broken links page anymore.

I have a dell laptop studio and have always had my homepage as msn.com---now when i click on internet explorer it says that link is broken? any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

If you are using Internet Explorer then follow the instruction bellow to rectify it.

Open Internet Explorer and click on the Tools tab on the top right hand side, then click on Internet options.
In the general tab you see what your home page should be. Highlight the web address and then type in http://www.msn.com. Click on Apply and then OK.

To see if it's worked all you have to do click on the home button at the top.

Regards.

I dont have a home page anymore the screen said dell v14 msn can't find server.

This error means that the browser could not find the page that was setup as the homepage in the browser settings could not be found. May be because the laptop is not connected to the internet or the homepage URL is spelt wrongly and there exists no such URL. What you do is to open the browser and go to Tools->Internet Options. Here right on top you would find Home Page. Type the URL here. Alternatively, access a page and when it has opened fully, go to Tools->Options and here set this page as home page.
