My laptop switches itself constantly off and on,

This concerns a laptop with the age of 15 months.
8 months ago I had the same problem: all of a sudden the laptop switches off (even when only having Microsoft Word on) and restarts itself, and turns off, this repeatedly. People at the store adviced me to reset my computer. So i did. Never had that problem again, untill today. But the problem now is, I cannot get it on again. It used to stay on after a few times rebooting, but now it won't work anymore. What can I do to fix this? I could try the reseting again, however, I'd really like to transport my files to an external harddrive first! But now I cannot get it started anymore..... What do you advise?
Thank you in advance,
J.M.

I had this problem on an Acer Aspire 1670, the problem was that the vents on the fan cooler were blocked; hence it overheated and was shut down by the thermal controller, then cooled down a bit and restarted.
Try sucking out dust rubbish from the vents on the side with a vacuum cleaner else dismantel case and clean out with an air duster aerosol.

Have you try removing the battery and directly running on battery and also clean the ram and fixit it again.run the windows in safe mode and work for at lest houl an hour to chek you can go to safe mode by pressing the F8 key.if it is working in safe mode properly that means you need to check whether there is any virus .

My samsung galaxy s6 edge is about 15 months old. it switches itself on and off, freezes frequently, and gets very hot. can you help?

I would try a factory reset. Make sure you back up all data as it will be lost. If that doesn't work the a new battery would be next. If it continues to act up then you have a hardware problem and it needs to be repaired.

The computer constantly restarts by itself. Once it gets to the Microsoft corporation loading screen it loads about for 15 seconds before it has a blue screen and restarts. Is this because of the computers...

No, it's because Windows has been severely corrupted by a virus. Just reinstall it using the Recovery CD that came with the pc when you bought it, it will be as new. And next time use a better antivirus.

All of the lights on the control panel are flashing simutanously and constant. The air cleaner is not working. I just had it tuned up about a month or so ago. Whats happening

Here's something that has worked in the past. Turn the Master ON/OFF switch to OFF. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and wait 12 - 15 minutes before plugging it back in. Once it's plugged back in turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the controls as you normally do.I f everything now functions as it should, the unit reset itself.

If that doesn't solve the problem contact the Oreck Service Dept that did the tuneup for you.

I have a ladies rolex oyster perpetual datejust which was bought a couple of months ago. It's an automatic watch and although I wear it all the time including during sleep, it's constantly slow. Is...

I suggest you talk to Rolex or thier local dealer to see if the slowness you are concerned about is outside the guaranteed accuracy for the watch.

I can't find any reference to accuracy on the Rolex site but other makers have mentioned 15 seconds per month for the accuracy of an automatic watch. This seems poor compared to the accuracy that we have become used to from electronic watches but it is a mechanical watch!

Speaking to the maker might clarify what you can expect from your watch and if it is outside their tolerances, I would expect them to put it right under their warranty.

Scanners turn on automatically

How old are those battery's? The below is copyed from http://www.batteryuniversity.com Aging is a concern with most lithium-ion batteries and many manufacturers remain silent about this issue. Some capacity deterioration is noticeable after one year, whether the battery is in use or not. The battery frequently fails after two or three years. It should be noted that other chemistries also have age-related degenerative effects. This is especially true for nickel-metal-hydride if exposed to high ambient temperatures. At the same time, lithium-ion packs are known to have served for five years in some applications. Manufacturers are constantly improving lithium-ion. New and enhanced chemical combinations are introduced every six months or so. With such rapid progress, it is difficult to assess how well the revised battery will age. Storage in a cool place slows the aging process of lithium-ion (and other chemistries). Manufacturers recommend storage temperatures of 15°C (59°F). In addition, the battery should be partially charged during storage. The manufacturer recommends a 40% charge. Hope this helps
