You must have got an AC adapter *** charger with the laptop. Plug in to your laptop and the other side to the wall on your power socket.

Yes you can leave the battery with the laptop. That is the way it is meant to be in each and every laptop. Some take 220v some 120v according to different geographical locations.

Bdcs50, can it be leaft on the charger althe time, or this hurt the battery life?

NO, unless the battery charger is a "tender" type...(its not).... I would NOT leave it on charge, it will shorten the life!

How long does it take to charge the cordless vac?

The basic rule of charging is "charge for 3 hours for every hour of use".

You won't hurt anything if you charge it overnight, but don't leave it charging for more then 24 hours.

If you wear the battery out eventually, Batteries Plus can re-pack the battery.

I just bought an 18v B&D battery (fsb18) , how long do I charge it?

The newer batteries charge up in about 1 hour. But being a new battery and first charge, don't be afraid to let it go a while, It won't hurt it and the charger will trickle down when it is full. You can leave them in all night if you want. I have one on the bench charging all the time, it is ready when I need it.

How long do you need to keep the camera charged? Leaving it on the docking station always being charged would damage the camera????

Leaving the camera on the charger will not hurt the battery. The type of battery you have will only charge till full and then stop charging.

Is the green light supposed to flash while charging lithium batteries> just got the p113 charger but no instructions in the dang box

I have used alot of battery type drills and other action tools . Ryobi is on the lower end of the market as opposed to Milwaulkee and Dewalt . But my experience with battery operated tool charging equipment is that if the light is green and it's blinking , I would say it's charging . When the light goes off or stays on . I would say it's charged . Leaving the battery or batteries in the charging unit for 24 hours will not hurt the battery . My solution here is put it in the charger , and check it 12 hours later !

LEAVING A BATTERY OPERATED TV PLUGGED TO A.C.

Mike ultimately it depends on the charging board and battery combination most modern units it won't hurt at all. I leave mine plugged almost all the time as well as my laptop.

Some DVD players will work without the battery plugged in anyway, and batteries store best with a partial charge.

I'm not going to get into battery science but Lithium Ion, NiCad and NmH batteries all like to be treated a little differently.

I think you are safe....but in time all batteries will fail regardless.

Cheers!

How do I store my yardstick for the winter so that I do not hurt the battery? I misplaced my Owners Manual. Not sure whether to leave the Yardstick plugged in and charging or to unplug and run the battery...

Get yourself a very inexpensive trickle charger that you can leave hooked up all the time. Itr will charge as needed, then cut itself off until the amp rate drops enough to warrant charging more. It will not overcharge, so you can leave it on all the time.

M515 Palm Pilot

here is your manual in PDF form
www.palm.com/us/support/handbooks/m500series_ug.pdf

if the unit was new then you would charge it for about 10 hours .. but since its not likely new then it doesnt hurt anything to just leave it on charge ... you can even operate the palm while its charging .. over night charge should be enough to get pretty close to full ... the palm internally automatically turns off the charge when the battery is full .. so you dont have to worry about over charging .. if the unit wont come on then you can do a "reset" (back at top)
