I have a GE Profile bottom freezer french door refrigerator, with the inside water dispensor. It does not have any external dispensors.
After cleaning the refrigerator, it appears that the ice maker is not getting water and consequently not producing ice. I have switched the unit off and then on again (I got this tip from the GE website), waited 24 hours and the unit is still not working. I have checked the lines and all appear okay, but I cannot find any valve inside of the refrigerator for the water to the ice maker, so I have not been able to check if I inadvertently moved the position of any device that would stop the flow of water.
OK, that should be no problem. Test your ice maker and fill with water if empty of ice. If full of ice and not moving to dump tell me. I need to help you locate the problem doing that and answering will tell me the problem. Also look around the door frame and inside for the model Profile that you have. and get back with me as soon as possible, Thanks Sea Breeze
That's funny I am not sure yet because I am not sure how this bottom freezer is designed. Let me check with the model number you sent. BRB Sea Breeze
That design is different! Can you see where the cubes would sit inside their slots? I know that your ice maker is WR30X10093 Ice Maker Electronic If ice is in the electronic ice maker and does not dump then the ice maker may be the reason. Sea Breeze
You may need to take it out to look it over. Here is the model number click here=> WR30X10093 Ice Maker Electronic Water will not come out if taken out inspect. But I do know it is either your ice maker or the water control valve. If ice maker is full and not working then the Ice Maker is the problem. I will give you some time to think of what you want to do. So I will leave you my blog site addresses where you can find me. Click here=> Sea Breeze Appliance Parts and Technical Services and Appliance Parts Southeast. You can find me there or here. All the information to locate me is at the top of those pages. I do have a link from this site back to those sites but don't seem to be working. I will wait to hear from you, Sea Breeze
You are very welcome! The fact that it did not refill points to the water control valve, but really I did not realize this version of the Profile was so difficult to work with. Thanks and Later Sea Breeze

This may sound a little dumb, but how do I fill the ice maker with water? The model of my GE Profile is: PFS22SISBSS. Thank you so much for your help.
Thank you so much for your help. Oddly enough, when I checked the ice maker again to see if I could find a way to fill it with water, there was one ice cube in the bin! I could not see ice cubes where they should sit in the holder (it is a very difficult design to even see) but I could feel ice cubes below the holder...at least I think that was what I was feeling. The ice maker does not appear to be full, but as you say, it is really not possible to see the entire unit unless you remove it. I will be trying that next. Again, thank you for your help and for the links to your sites, I have a feeling that I may be using them soon.
