My daughter dropped her iphone earlier this year and it stopped working. I thought I'd try to get it fixed before Christmas and surprise her. So I am charging it now. The original problem was the bottom of the touch screen wasn't working. Now it seems to be working, and I'm trying to get it to recognize my SIM card (AT&T) so I can make sure it completely works, but I can't get it to recognize my SIM card. Any suggestions before I take it to the apple store?

    So I talked to someone that has an iphone and he said because I am using my SIM from a BB, it won't recognize unless I set up a new account. So I played with it a little more, and it seems like the bottom works when using the slider bar (slide for emergency) works, but when I try to push a button at the bottom (cancel on "slide to power off") or I tried dialing 411 on the emergency view, it will let me key in 411 and delete them, but won't let me touch the back arrow or the green phone icon. Any other help?

IF YOUR SIM IS A 2G CARD THE IPHONE WILL NOT RECONIGE THE SIM IT HAS TO BE A 3G SIM .. CALL ATT BEFORE YOU GO TO THE STORE AND HAVE THEM PUT A NOTE ON YOU ACCOUNT FOR A FREE 3G SIM AT A ATT STORE ONLY

Ah, this is a common problem after dropping an iphone.
If you had your iphone for less then a year then you could try taking it back to the apple store and say the screen has stopped working and they should give you a new one under warranty. I wouldnt mention you dropped it tho ;).
If you have had your phone for longer then a year or apple wont give you a new one then you should seek help from a repair company such as the one below. Shouldnt be too expensive to fix

I would take it to an appple store and have them take a look, they won't charge you just to check it out. If under warranty they are pretty good about replacing it right there.

Those parts can be replaced. However you need a repair place to do this as it is very hard for a 1st timer to repair. So try taking it to a place other than Apple store

New Didj keeps shutting down

We were having the same problem; my son (an we) were getting very frustrated! I finally tried to reboot the game and it seems to have worked. Take a paperclip and bend it; place the point in the small circular opening in the back of the game (there is two arrows next to the opening). We just did this and my son played past the point where it would shut down. The manual said that doing this would erase all of the memory...this didn't seem to happen.

LENSE ERROR 122,1,0,0 problem

Hershey, take a small pair of needle nose pliers and try and wiggle the lens and it should work! I just did it with my daughters camara
