SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet-Error code F 02/wont spin and drain

You should clean the the drain filter and the drain hose first but if the pump is removing water and the F02 is still hanging in there try this, it worked for me. Remove the back of the washer and in the upper left is a pressure switch that tells the computer the where the water level is. Remove the black rubber tube from the switch and blow into it. Mine had a small obstruction and didn't let the switch see the pressure change (water level change). I did replace the pump and didn't need to.

Whirlpool duet washer error code f-02

Error F-02 is a slow drain problem. Remove lower front panel. You will see a circular door. Be prepared for a lot of water and junk, maybe keep some old towels ready. Open, clean out, check pump which comes right behind it - see that blades rotate freely; refit carefully. You are done, for the next six months or so, depending on usage.
