Either your freezer is not cold enough or you got a defective ice maker. It needs to be 15 degrees or colder to make ice. The water may be frooze but not cold enough to close the internal thermostat inside the ice maker. If your freezer is colder that 15 degrees, take the ice maker back to Sears, you got a lemon. Good luck!, Mack

106:533332300 ice maker leaks; replaced

Good day,
Make certain the fill tube is aligned properly and not the problem. As well, make sure the machine and Ice maker are level.
If you installed a new water valve, and there was no change, then yes the IceMaker is probably defective.
Don't need a model number, just take the ice maker in to any appliance parts house. They will match it up.
You don't normally have to go to Sears. Take the model number of the machine with you if you like.

Whirlpool IceMagic Plus not working.

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the ice maker . If it dumps the ice but doesn't refill , replace the ice maker . If it doesn't dump , and the cubes stay in the ice maker , replace the ice maker .

The switch on the icemaker for normal , runs the icemaker normaly . In the ice plus , a small fan comes on , blowing the inside air , over the ice maker mold , to help it freeze faster .

Not producing ice

There are several possibilities. The dual water control valve is defective going to the ice maker, defective ice maker thermostat; frozen water fill tube leading to the ice maker is blocked with ice. You can see if ice maker is working by filling it with tap water and waiting to see if it dumps. If it does not empty the icemaker of the ice I would think ice maker thermostat. If it dumps ice and does not refill I would say you need a new dual water control valve. Sears has a complete model number system that is confusing I know. Sears made it that way. Not sure why but look around the cold food door while open and look near bottom on the frame just above the kick plate. The number looks like this, (model No. 253.64802400 for example) I will need that number to help you solve the sound alert coming from your refrigerator. Find that number and we can go from there, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice maker stopped working

I just had the same problem. You need to purchase a new motor module part numnber #8021515. I purchased mine at a Sears Service Center for 77.59. I installed it yesterday and again now have ice. Took about 10 mintutes to install. The tricky little part is removing the old one. Unscrew the three screws, and there is a white tab that needs to be pressed together (use tweezers) to remove the unit from the shut off arm.

Ge icemaker problems GSS25LSWASS

What part was installed?

Ensure that the Ice Maker arm is in the down position.

There is a thermostat that closes when the ice mold reaches a temperature that indicates that the water in the mold is frozen if this thermostat is faulty it will prevent the Ice Maker from going into the dump cycle.

Hope this helps.
