Does not Spin out the water at the end of a load

My Bocsh Next Premium washing machine does not spin out the water at the end of a washing cycle. The clothes are soaking wet. In order to fix the problem, I have to change the washing machine to Spin only cycle. The washing machine spins out the water and then I can put the clothes in the dryer. I had the repair man out and he said that the machine could not get in balance to spin out the water. But my issue is, how come I can change the setting to the Spin only cycle and the washing machine spins out all of the water immediately without trying to get the clothes in balance. If the clothes are not in balance for the wash cycle then they should be out of balance for the spin cycle and it should not spin out the water either? Right???

If it spins the balance is okay. Check out your filter now. And then the pump (after the spigot prob below) Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

many machine spin a full tub as they are pumping the water out
this helps to even out the washing load and reduce the unbalance situation
when the water is removed , the machine progresses the program to a high speed spin
call a technician as there may be a problem in the program board

Hello I have a Maytag Washer Model A512 The machine goes through a regular cycle OK - However, it DOES drains the water out during the rinse cycle, but does NOT drain the water out during the spin...

The timer will always advance to the next program if the machine does not fully drain. There is ALWAYS a spin when draining the water out, there is only one pump and one motor. The waterlogged laundry maybe telling the timer that there is still water in the tub. Put the machine on "Spin" and cheat the lid switch into thinking that the lid is closed. Use a clothes peg or wide ended screwdriver and see if there really is a spin....

Kenmore washing machine didn't spin @ end of cycle

If you tried a different cycle and it worked this means that the timer is probably bad on the main cycle that you use. If the machine does not spin on all cycles, then please check out the LID SWITCH.

Frigidaire washing machine gets stuck on cycles

The cycle doesn't advance When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.
