There should be a vga output its normaly black or blue on the side or back of your laptop its the cable that a monitor would plug into you can plug that into a vga input on most newer tv's or your laptop may have an S VIDEO out put which looks like a mouse or keyboard port and is usually yellow check your owners manual to see if you have these or look it up online then you just have to buy the proper cable to connect it I use an S video cable that converts to Audio video cables and plug it into my tv that way so im sure you can find a way to do it you may need some type of adapter once you know what your tv and what your laptop has for connections the only real reason i would recomend doing it is for watching movies from the laptop because the quality of the picture sucks for web surfing but is awesome for video in my experiances

Testimonial: "Thanks for the quick response davepcrepair.I have a vga output and i will get the appropriate adapter. Thanks again"

Hi,

dependant on the outputs at the sides/Rear of the laptop.
You may also have to configure it, Through start/Control Panel/ Display/ settings. Enabling a second screen With required resolution et,c.
Then usually activated by pessing the Fn and F key with 2 monitor pics on or Similar.
Check the manufacturers website, For a User Manual Guide.

SOURCE: toshiba l300d bios battery

Not knowing what your skill level is, I would recommend having this done by a pro unless you feel comfortable disassembling virtually the entire unit. The bios battery is on the motherboard and depending on the model, it may be necessary to remove the board. Good luck.

SOURCE: toshiba l300d bios battery

Hi
Most laptops require a complete strip down to the mobo to replace cmos battery. I do not recommend other than technicians to perform this task as there are some very frail components that break easily.

I wonder why you wish to replace battery in the first place?

If laptop works and the clock keeps time then do not touch which aint broke!

Usually the easy fix for this is to swap out the laptop keyboard. They are inexpensive, usually $20 or less, and are not to bad to swap out.

How do i replaced the charger socket in my l300d toshiba laptop

I have come across this issue in a number of Toshiba laptops recently. The DC jack assembly (which includes a wiring harness and the DC jack) actually breaks away from the bottom laptop housing. What I have done is to glue the jack back in place using a hot glue gun. You need to be careful and observe how the right speaker (located on the top housing) is situated. Be liberal on the glue and make sure the jack is encased in the glue. I have not had any units returned after this was done.

Good luck
