Why does the oil pour out of my tiller?

did you just change your oil? there should be a drain plug on the bottom to drain the oil. they don't normally come loose but if you just changed or had someone do it for you it is possible that it has come loose and fallen out. be sure the dipstick is in the hole. i hope this helps

Does this use mixed gasoline or regular gaso;ine

If your model does in fact have markings on it or in the manual indicating it is a 4-cycle tiller you need to put straight gas in the gas tank. It will also have an oil plug/dipstick on the motor that you have to check to make sure it is full of oil. The oil should be checked every time you fill the gas tank for the safety of your motor.

What kind of oil goes in crankcase

Rule of thumb for lawn and garden equipment ...

If it is 2 cycle - gas and oil are mixed - 50 to 1 mix. Some two cycle engines require more oil ... up to 32 to one.

It if is 4 cycle - has a fuel tank and a crank case - 30 weight oil SJ or better service rating.

If you want to become an expert on oil ... go here: http://www.bsehome.net/pdf/OIL_S_EG.PDF

And a final word ... it is always good to refer to the manufacturer recommendations when selecting lubricants. Troy Bilt (no longer manufactured by the Troy Bilt Company in Troy New York) uses a number of different engines on their procducts. Here is a link for you: http://www.troybilt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/category2_10001_14102_54971_54970_54970_-1?cm_mmc=Google-_-WG-_-Tillers-_-Sponsored

I have a Model 29270 REV B00 Craftsman 4 cycle mini-tiller. Can't find a spark plug or air filter. Appreciate some direction.

Craftsman part numbers will help on this search. Typically 3 digits separated by a '.' such as 345.45687

If you can find these, please re-post the question. :)
