Wher is the mute button

The key labeled Fn works with the keys across the top of the keyboard to do different things than just F1, F2, F3 and so on. There will be a couple of the F keys with symbols on them that are the same color as the letters on the Fn key. 2 or 3 of these keys will have speaker pictures on them, and that will be sound up or down. If one has a speaker with an X on it, then push and hold the Fn key and tap the key with the speaker on it, that has the X. That should mute the sound. You can also click the little speaker down by your clock, and it will pop up a menu with a button with a speaker on it. click the button and it will also mute the sound for you.

Hi iam using dell vastro A860 laptop just recently face one major problem laptop internol spaeker sound not working when i use headphone sound working good what hapend the sound is notworking iternel...

Very possibly you muted the sound. Check the little speaker icon in the system tray. When you click it you should see if it is muted or not. Muting the speaker does not mute the headphones, as a general rule.

Describe your Magnavox Stereo Mini System FW36 Problem My speakers that came with the stereo dont really work. only when I turn the volume all the way up I can hear the music, but the sound is really...

Yes.

NEVER USE MAXIMUM VOLUME FOR TROUBLESHOOTING.
Turn the volume control to something medium.
The errant switch, control or condition may change and you will suddenly release the amp's full power and possibly destroying your speakers. If a signal isn't audible at 1/2 volume it's probably not there.

Carefully examine the front panel for clues like a misplaced Mute or Tape Monitor control or Multichannel Analog Input selected.

There is a good chance that a common control may have developed a high-resistance or 'dead' spot through idleness and is causing your symptom. Turn the POWER OFF and operate every control throughout its range a number of times, especially rarely-used ones like Tape Monitors and the Mute control.

Turn the volume to something reasonable and see if that helped.

No sound on the speaker.

common issues with no notebook sound are volume physical switch turned down. mute sometimes checked off under the speaker by the clock some laptops have a Fn button that corresponds with keys either on the numbers or F keys above. look for anything that would work with a Function key combination (often in a blue color) printed on the keys themselves. another common issue is , in the control panel under sound /sound properties people sometimes tick of the "Digital output only" which effectively mutes the speakers. one last thing. sometimes on laptops volume settings dont look like buttons , but are responsive to touch. look for a volume slider image and play with that too. hope that helps, cheers.

There is no sound playing when I try to watch a video I recorded in the camera

You may want to use headphones to have audio. However, sometimes your speaker will randomly boot up and work normally until something else happens and mutes it again.
