Software problem i want to download the neccesary software for my pc in oder for me to copy pics and songs to my ipod

It depends on which device you have (Archos? iPod? Zune?).
There should be software available from the manufacturer's web-site that helps you copy music-files to the device. For example, use the iTunes software on a Mac or PC to download to an iPod.

I mean your iPod you can just insert it in the computer with the cable and the computer will install the driver :O) then you can see the storage in the Folder "My Computer". Open the drive and simply copy and paste the songs you want to have on it, you find the copy and paste function if you highlight a song and then right click on the mouse. Remember this !! you can copy more songs in once by holding the control (Ctrl) button down when selecting the songs with the mouse OR you can copy several songs after eachother by highlight the first song and then press "Shift" and highlight the last song.

you have Put the songs using Itunes oR by simply copy pasting it from "My computer"
without Itunes or Ipod software the songs will not get played on the Ipod

For Windows plug in ipod go to my computer click (I:) drive (wich is your ipod) highlight songs right click "Send To" > "My Documents" and your done.

if you have a Mac plug it in go to desktop... wait a few moments your ipod should come up on the desktop click on it and highlight click again "Import to iTunes"
