How can i delet a song from iphone - Apple iPhone 3G

If you want to delete music from iPhone, you can take fully advantage of iTunes. After you purchased songs in iTunes Store on iPhone, your iTunes will also save the purchase history, so you don't have to worry about losing the purchased music files. When you connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, iTunes will launch automatically and recognize your iPhone. You can create a new playlist which contains only the music you need, and then sync it to your iPhone. By doing this, you can remove the unwanted music from iPhone.

1. Click the iPhone icon at the upper left corner.
2. Choose Music in the left sidebar.
3. Check Sync Music choose Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres.
4. Select the playlist which only contains the songs you need. Then click Sync.

It's no longer possible to delete songs from iPhone in iOS7. To remove music:
1) Find a PC/Mac
2) Install iTunes if it is not installed
3) Connect your device
4) Tell your device to trust the computer if it asks
5) Switch over to the device view
6) Browse to your music on the device
7) Delete it

It worked except for the one stupid song I had tried deleting before. I hate that song. It was a free download that I can't get rid of no matter how hard I've tried and I'm at the point that not being able to get rid of is driving me nuts. I had swiped right to left pressed delete and now I get ... with a cloud and downward arrow on top. I've sync my phone with the computer and this song doesn't show up. It only shows up on my iphone. I have iPhone5 with ios7.

Just place all the songs you want to hear into a special playlist or many playlists. Then you go to the music tab in the iTunes settings screen and click on selected playlists. Next check off only your special iPhone playlists. Once this is completed you can control which songs are or aren’t synchronized to the iPhone by adding or removing songs from these special playlists. If you remove a song from the playlist it will be deleted the next time you sync.
Note: Removing songs from your playlists will not delete the songs from you main library or prevent them from playing on your computer.
