remove the battery and replace it and try again if that does not work it could be you boot files are damaged and you will need to do a system restore

get into the bios check whether the hard drive is detecting or not, make your hard drive the first booting device, then check............if this does not solve your problem try to re install the os again

Getting black screen when booting up

If you get the black screen after the BIOS has loaded it means that your install is totally corrupted - you will have reinstall Windows: use Alt+F10 during boot to access the recovery partition then follow the instructions.
If nothing appears on the screen then it's a hardware fault - the motherboard has failed and you will have to replace it.

Try this: Plug it out and remove the battery. Then insert the battery again, plug it in and try. If just black screen appears, your display may be dead and you need to replace it. If this helps, please rate. Thank you

The light is on but it is not loading. no picture in the screen

do you see the bios starup....or is the screen totally blanc as you switch on? if the screen is totally blanc then it maybe the monitor cable is u/s, if the startup screen appears and nothing else, then the hard drive is either u/s or you need to reload your operating system.

Updated to windows 7. I think i have to operating sytems now. the acer logo shows up but after its just a black screen with courser. Tried the system restore alt+f10 and nothing happened. please help.

I have a laptop , and it suddenly stopped working,i mean when i on it, i can only see a black screen with the letters. thats all it doesnt even load the bios, what can i do? Powers on Totally Blank...

ON the laptop and tap F10.you need to re-install the whole OS (operating systems). which would fix the bios.

ps. without bios PC would not work

Laptop was working fine, suddenly went totally black.

the display of ur laptop has got damaged....if u still have doubt that it might be some software problem try formatting ur system.. Or else u should go for a change of display screen

where do I check for the engine model? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.Have a 91 F150 Ford truck. Through a rod and destroyed engine. Replaced with 302 engine. No computer, useing points and plugs. Vehicle sat up for some time with minimal use due to long work hours and poor health. Long story short. Installed new spark plugs cheap as it is my fishing trk.) Compression is poor, and it makes a loud clatering like a sticky valve only louder. What about the gap in the plugs? How do I check for firing to eack individual cylinder?
