Water dispenser problem

This sounds like the water inlet valve has gone bad.. First before u replace it check to see that you have water coming to back of fridge as it could be restricted causing no water to reach the fridge.

If your model is the PSS25MGMWW and the water dispenser is not workingthe problem is most likely the=> WR57X10026 Water Inlet Valve Most times the ice dispenser and water to the ice maker will continue to work properly while the half of the water control valve will fail and stop water to the dispenser or ice maker. The water dispenser tube is getting leaked form in between or its got loose from its actual line.Inspect water dispenser tube from water valve to the end of where the water is getting dispensed.

here is a service manual for that ice maker.

There should be a plastice hinge cover on the left top hinge on freezer door. Take it off and press the plug together firmly. Try that and let me know, Sea Breeze

Yes, it could be the water filter. Also check to make sure the water is turned on and that any lines to the refrigerator aren't kinked or crushed somewhere. It's also possible that you will not be making any ice as well if your appliance has an ice maker

Stop, the first thing to know is if you are getting voltage to the rotator srm in the back of the freezer

check to make sure there is water or ice in your ice maker tray. If none then problem is usually a water supply issue to the ice maker. Behind the frig are the water supply inlet valves. One is for the water dispenser in the door. THe other is for the ice maker. However when one goes bad they both are replaced as one unit. Also Check position of fingers in ice maker. If not in a vertical position then try to reset the ice maker unit and worse comes to worse, replace it with a new one.

Check the ice maker see it is in the right position, maybe you can try pull out the ice maker and clean it and push it back, make sure the position is right.

my ge refrigerator stop making ice a week ago, water dispenser still works.
