Since on differnet models it goes right or left,
but you should be able to push the shelf one way, enough so that the other side pops out of the wall
then slide in the long side first, you will see what i mean when you have the shelf out
push the long side in with a lil pressure and raise the shelf the leve you want it installed on

On mine, there was a plastic clip, ~5/8" long on the left side of the shelf that prevented the shelf from being moved far enough in that direction. Removing this clip allowed me to remove the shelf.

Thanks, my worked exactly as you said.

How did you get the clip off? I've been trying to remove it, even with pliers it won't budge.

I was having the same problem, the shelf just wouldn't come out no matter how hard I pushed or pulled on it. Then I noticed a black rubber, semicircular, 1 in. wide band attached to the left front rung of the shelf that was keeping it from bending, some kind of a safety device. Once I took it off, the shelf was easy to remove and place in the holes above, and I replaced the piece of rubber afterward.

Fridge is dripping directly onto top shelf. It is

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curtain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you have any other question. The water is overflowing from the freezer onto refrig shelf

Yes, let the unit thaw out, and replace that thin wire. it's called a drain heater, it simply keeps the water from freezing before it gets out the drain.

Unable to remove shelf

Remove the "spacers" from the shelf and discard them.
They are for shipping purpose only.
Then push the shelf right or left and pull up on the opposite side. It will come out.

Water drips from evaporator fan channel Frigidaire FRT17G4B

It sounds as if this is a top mounted refrigerator. (freezer on top) If this is the case, check to see if you need to defrost the drain. You could also have a problem with the door seals. Remember the air coming out of the vent is freezer temp minus a few degrees. It could be that the moisture is condensing in that area.

Water in the floor

there is a drain hose that comes out of the bottom of the cabinet into a drain pan underneath your freezer take a look and see if that got pulled loose during your move. if it is in place then you most likely have a plugged drain. this can be cleaned fromt he inside at the botom. reomve the bottom basket and the shelf right above it. you will see ice build up on the floor of the freezer and and behind the cover. just defrost the ice you will uncover the drain hole flush warm water thru the line till it runs clear. good luck peyton
