If you are dealing with a 76076-010 clipper, this is how you remove and replace the detactable blade. There is a small gun-metal colored bar at the very rear, just below the back of the blade. It pushes inward, in the direction of the blade. Push it firmly in and pull up on the teeth of the blade. It should pop upward. You can then remove the blade from the tongue that it sits upon. When you want to put it back, slide the blade back on the tongue, then, WITH THE MOTOR TURNED ON, push the blade down to its seated position. It will click into place. If the tongue has gotten pushed back against the body of the clipper, simply insert a screwdriver blade behind it and pop it back out so that you can slip the blade back on it.
Hope this helps you.

I appreciate phischneide's solution, but no matter how hard I tried, the new blade would not lock into place. I tried calling Oster and to my dismay they have no customer service to help its customers. I have decided that the best possible solution is to get rid of the **** thing and to never EVER buy another Oster product. I suggest the rest of you do the same.

How do you change cutting blade on a Sears Craftsman Mower?

Hi Bill:
Changing blades is pretty straightforward but does involve some Safety Hazards.
- Blades can have sharp bits - WEAR GLOVES
- Running engines can make the blade BITE - BAD
ALWAYS disconnect spark plug lead whaen changing blade.
Easy Part:
- Raise deck to maximum height
- If possible, park with front wheels on a ramp to get better access under deck.
- Use socket wrench to remove bolt from centre of blade. Here's where the gloves help as you hold the end of the blade to prevent it from turning when you apply force to remove the bolt.
TA DA! The blade will come off.
- To install new or sharpened blade (I use an angle grinder to sharpen mine) tuck it in place, install the bolt, snug it up, make sure any notches or splines line up, protect your hands (gloves) while you tighten the bolt. and you're back to cutting grass.
Cheerfuls.

Mower wont engage bland to turn

Do you mean "mower blade won't turn"? This could be a broken or slipped belt or possible a damaged mandrel on the mower deck.

How do I change the saw blade on my 2 hp 7 1/4 saw?

If the saw doesn't have a locking mechanism for changing the blade then you will have to jam a piece of wood in the teeth of the blade so that it cannot turn. Remember safety first. Ensure the saw is unplugged and wear leather gloves when changing the blade. Use a socket or wrench to loosen the nut that holds the blade on and remove the blade. Use the reverse procedure to tighten the blade.

We have the Hamilton 12 speed blender and we can't figure out how to put the blande and the seal on the botto of the jar.

The rubber gasket goes between the jar and the blade assembly, and then the base screws on to hold them all in place.
