The Kenmore Oasis and Whirlpool Cabrio washers are essentially the same. Following is the Whirlpool Installation and service manual for their Cabrio washers.

Hi,
This is a door lock error. Unplug the washer and inspect the lock and latch. If all appears well, check the wiring connections to the switch, and where thay connect to the brains. Also check that the lock and latch are tight. Tighten any loose fittings and connections. Usually the lock is at fault, but it can be the brain.

Serial Communication Error
Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
Check for:
Check Wire Harness connectors to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Check the Drive system for any worn or failed components
Check MCU
Check CCU
Check Motor

On this washer, the dl code indicates a failed lid lock mechanism. Pressing pause/cancel should reset the controls.
You may have to unplug the unit for 20-30 minutes, then restore the power.
If that doesn't work, the only other solution would be to replace the door lock assembly.
