You can get instructions from the Amitron web site. Copy "www.armitron.com/watch_instructions.asp" into your search engine and you will see a list of illustrations of watches and associated instructions.
Choose the one that looks like yours and download the PDF file.
If you do not have instructions you can get them from their web site "Seiko.com".
Click on "support" and then on " instruction booklets" and then scroll down the page and you will see a list of watches. Download the PDF for your watch.
I cannot help with the day but the date can be set -
Pull the head of the crown fully , then push it back lightly half way and then rotate the crown.

hi i had the same problem but i have just found the answer. hold the light button until it flash's 12 or 24, then press mode which will change you on to the time, date, ect then fiddle around with the start and reset button to toggle with the time and date. when your done with the time press light again.
