Washer beeping and stops before spin cycle- "UL code" is displayed...seems to do everything else fine until it gets to the spin cycle- have even tried the "drain and spin cycle" with the same problem and code. The first few times, moving the clothes around solved the problem. My Cabrio is only 4 months old! This happened off and on since i bought it, but in the last week, it's happened every time...Tried cleaning the washer, cleaning hoses, and moving hoses and clothes around...Nothing helps....Cant get anyone to come out and check it for almost 3 weeks!

My washing machine will not spin when it is unlevel. I got so tired of this, so I found and easy solution. When it will not spin, I add my husbands 4 pound weights, they are plastic coated and came from Walmart, like dumbells, to the part of the load that isn't heavy enough. After it spins, I take the weights out. It works great and sure beats trying to balance the washing machine all the time.

I seriously doubt that it is a leveling problem due to the fact that the washer worked fine for months before this problem accured. It has to be a loose bracket or something similar.

I am on line now- we checked with a level and its right on... i have been washing on the normal cycle and then using the drain/spin cycle to spin out as much water as i can..that cycle even displays the ul code...its always displayed somewhere between 12 mins left and 7 mins left...i dont know if that has something to do with it??

My cabrio washer squeaks when I start it and it's spinning also stop spinning in the middle of a cycle I have to redo the load and it still says uL what's wrong

ul usually stands for unbalanced load,if a top loader then suspension rods have worn out, fron loaders are more complicated

Whirlpool cabrio W10106480A keeps giving Unbalanced Load message and tub bumps the sides very hard and loudly

follow this step and fix it. God bless you

Washing machines are complex and have many functional components. It's always best to stop an unbalanced load, rearrange it, and re-start the washer.

I have a top loader and replaced the coupler, now the drum is unbalanced when spinning, how do I re balance it. The technician says its a simple job but will not tell me how

If you had the washer tilted back when you replaced the coupler, this may just be a simple matter of releveling the washer. Whirlpool top loaders have an auto-leveling mechanism on the back two feet of the washer. Periodically, you may need to check the level due to normal vibration and moving the appliance.. The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3868923-level_whirlpool_top_loading_washer

If the washer is unlevel it can give the appearance of the drum being tilted. Try this and let me know if this helps you. If not, please post back and let me know.

Unballenced on spin even when empty

It may come up an unbalanced load but it may a sensor that is on recall. I have a Whirlpool Cabrio top loader and after I start it it says F1 which is a sensor on recall and I have to restart it several times before it continues the load. Go to their web site and you can look up the exact model to see if yours has a recall as well.

I have a ul error code on my washing machine it is a cabrio top loader

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. Therefore the washer ID doesn't mean
anything to me. The ul error code means unbalanced load. I can suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair information on washing machines and other appliances. I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

During spin cycle it becomes unbalanced and it beeps and stops

It sounds like the sensing arm of the out of balance switch assembly is wrongly set. Get the guy back to do the job properly at no charge!

What causes Cabrio washer to get unbalanced in spin cycle?

Try making sure that your draining hose isnt jammed all the way down the hole. When you installed it the u shaped accessory was needed for the draining hose. Try pulling the draining hose out...curve the front and zip tying it to your cold water valve. This will allow it to drain properly and not get water push back into the drum causing it to be unlevel
