We recently purchased a GE dryer and were told it is electric or gas operated, the dryer runs but is not heating up. i think it might be because it isnt getting enough electricitry, but i cant get the back pannel off to put on the 4 prong power cord. any advice?

ummm, hter is NO way to convert a gas dryer to electric, you can have a gas dryer converted from naturall gas to lp gas, but not to electric, two totally different machines.

gas dryer ? replace the 2 coils on gas burner the 2 black round dohickys..electric possible bad operating thermostat remove back round object on blower housing
