Hello:
I have a LG steam washer WM2487HRMA. It worked great for a year, but recently, it seems that it has trouble turning on. If I go and unplug it and plug it back in, it will turn on, and I can do a wash, but then back to the same problem again. Has anyone seen this, or have any advice with it? Thank you.

The fuse is located in a black cover. You need to gently pull the front panel out of the way and look to the right of the unit, in the area under where the panel was. There, you will see a black wire running into a black cylindrical case that has a black wire running out of the other end. Heed the warning on the label, please, and make sure that the power is unplugged form the wall. Gently pry open the casing and you will see the fuse within. The ends of the wires just pull off (gently) and then you have the fuse.
Tomorrow I go on a fuse hunt and try this out.

It sounds like a problem with the control board. You will need to have the unit checked out by a qualified LG technician and possibly replace the board.

I had the same problem with my LG washer today. I found another post that said to hold down the start pause button 5 seconds, plug back in so you have power, run on drain/spin at highest spin speed. I did it and so far after each load it has not shut down.
