Clark Forklift GPX25 will not shift into reverse. Unit was working fine a month ago. Do not use the forklift that often about once or twice a month. Unit will work in forward, but not reverse. Even when the unit is in netural it still wants to go forward.

I got the same problem and same model, what's going on with Clark forklift, I look for the new transmission all over internet but can't find any. if any body know what wrong please tell us what to do. thanks a lot. TMV

Check for blown fuses and check the reverse solenoid. You can swap the forward solenoid with the reverse one. If it works, then replace the solenoid.

sounds like the #1 rectifier is shorted or the insulator gasket is shorted through -also the 1A contactor may be welded shut -usually caused by a weak battery or running a discharged battery too long. -Troy from A-Lift Services
