GE Ice Maker not working.....Water in the door is working......

Hello,
Had a water line on the back of the fridge break........repaired with a union and a little bit of new tubing.
Also replaced the filter........
Water in the door works great now...........
It appears to me that no water is making it to the ice maker.
I just manually poured water into the ice maker forms......to see if that would work.
Ice Maker has the following numbers:
WR30X0328
Model CAN10
Any suggestions would be GREAT !!!

The fill tube that runs into the back of the icemaker is most likely frozen up in the cabinet. use a blow dryer to warm it up and you should be back in business..

you could have a bad water valve! After water comes out of filter it goes to water valve and shoots to the ice maker tray, if valve is bad it will have a low water supply or no water at all! Check tha valve! That was my problem and they do go bad often...

The water line was frozen (no ice being made and no water available in the door), so I took everything out of the fridge and freezer, let it all defrost, plugged it back in, now I have water in the door,...

Grab a blow dryer and aim it at the water tube that supplies water to your ice maker. More then likely it is frozen with ice and will need further melting to clear it out so that your ice maker will work again

KitchenAid ice dispenser tray is dry - not working

Put some water in the ice mold is what I would try. wait and see if the ice maker harvest a batch. If it does drop a batch but no more then the water valve is probably shot. The ice maker itself controls the water. It does this by filling the ice mold for 7.5 seconds. Here is your Ice maker repair manual and some repair photos along with a pictorial which snows how to check the water valve.

Ice maker works fine in the door of my GE refrigerator, but the water will not come through the tube in the door.

could be the water valve located in the back of the fridge, there are two solenoids on the valve, one for water and the other for ice maker, you can disconnect the water line from the valve and have someone else draw some water,if the water doesn't spray out of valve you know the valve is bad or if you have a meter check it that way,if water does spray out you could have a frozen line in the door, try heating the area with hair dryer, hope this helps, have a great thanksgiving

GE model GSH25JFTACC ice maker not working

When an ice maker is producing ice poorly--when it produces just a few cubes or none, or when the cubes are too small--it's usually because of a clogged water line or a defective water inlet valve.

First, check the water line attached to the back of the refrigerator for good water flow. To do that, first turn off the water supply valve. Then remove the water line from the back of the refrigerator. Next, place the water line into a bucket and momentarily turn the water valve back on to test the flow. If the flow is poor, you need to repair, clean, or replace the tubing or the shut-off valve that supplies the water. If the flow is good, you may have to replace the water inlet valve.

GE Profile side by side fridge - water dispenser doesn't work

More than likely, your water line is freezing up in the door. You can remove all of the ice cubes and lower the freezer temp to about 3. Leave the freezer door open for about 5 minutes or so and if this does not work, leave the door open a little longer. Also, disconnect the water line at the base of the freezer door, near the floor, and press the dispenser lever. If you have water there, you most likely have a frozen line in the door. Changing the water filter often will help but it is not the answer and is can get quite expensive. By the way, Make sure to hold the dispenser lever forward for at least a couple of minutes each time you test for water flow. If you do not get water at the connector at the base of the door after you have disconnected the line, you have a problem with the valve in the back of the refrigerator.
