SOURCE: heat strip installation

It was quite simple, just installing the heat strip and my model only required removing the grill cover and mounting the element. The other optional installations didn't apply to my model.

thanks,

SOURCE: Hot Water Heater in 1991 Pace Arrow RV is not working

If you look on the outside of the RV, you will find the vent for the water heater behind and access door. There usually is a drain plug and valve located as well. Generally they will be tucked away under the kitchen sink area with internal access as well. You will need to find where the valve that shuts the water off to the unit is and turn it on. Most times the water heater is either electric or propane. But sometimes they are only propane. Once your find the access door, you will know where the water heater is. You can also contact Fleetwood who makes the Pace Arrow to see if they have any information on your unit. Usually your unit info or trim number will be located on a little plaque right by the entrance to the RV. You will need this when you contact them. Hope this helps.

Why do I have to reset thermo disc for fridge to work on electric?

The thermo disc is a protection device that was installed as a result of a previous recall. The thermo disc, when tripped, will disconnect the 12vdc power source and in turn shutting down the entire refrigerator. Even though you may be wanting to run the refrigerator on 110vac you still need the 12vdc which powers all of the circuit boards. The reason for the disc tripping is it is either weak or it is actually doing its job and preventing a fire. You will need to determine if the electric elements are operating within their parameters. You will need a multi-meter and will have to google the ohms rating for your specific refrigerators heating elements. You may also have a ventilation issue which is not allowing the fresh air to flow behind the refrigerator. The installation of exhaust fans will help.

Fridge works on gas...but not on AC

Your heater should measure 44 ohms, give or take 10%.

95 Ohms is way off. The RM2310 uses a 92 ohm heating element, perhaps you installed / were sold the wrong heating element?
