I have had this camera for about 3 years and it has worked fine. I changed the batteries and ever since then the pictures are dark, some very, very dark. But sometimes they are ok. And sometimes it says "Change Settings". Thanks!

Are pictures taken without the flash too dark too? A630 sometimes has problems with flash - so the pictures come out too dark. The flash unit has to be changed then. You will have to contact your local Canon service center.

I have exactly the same problem. I am writing an email to Olympus for further advice. I beleive there is some replacement policy as this seems to be a manufacturer problem.
Hello Cowgirl, It sounds like the camera settings have been changed in the menu.Check to see if all control items are set to "AUTO" This should take care of problem. The camera did not go bad not being used. Best Regards, Russell
U have an electronics issue with the circuitry controlling the light levels reaching inside. Have you tried using manual settings? Repair on those units is expensive and it may bot be a cost effective repair situation.
