SOURCE: Washer keeps displaying '4E' Lack of water error

If you have pulled out and cleaned the filter at the back of the machine where the hose connects then I would check that your pump is not running during the cycle and also make sure your drain line is at least half way above your drum at its highest point, If its too low then it will drain off even if the pump is not running.

SOURCE: Washer Intuitive Fault code 12 Washer keeps

Hello there:
This code is a indication that your water inlet valve has failed and needs to be replaced when these valves fail they will continue to drain water into the machine even if the unit is unplugged
What you can do is to first unplug the machine and turn off the water to the unit then remove the hoses to the machine then youwill need to remove the back panel of the machine so you can get to the water inlet valve once you get to t the valve remove all of the hoses to it and the wiring and remove the valve then you can open up the valve and inspect it and replace any parts that are worn or rusted like seals or seats or simply replacve the entire valve itself this will cost you about 40 to 60 dollars ok once the valve has been repaired or replaced reinstall the water hoses and turn on then plug in the machine and if you have a cancel feature on it press that than you should be good to go from here run a couple of cycles thru it to ensure it is working properly ok
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Michael

I have probelm in my Samsung washing machine WF-B1061

NF and 4E = No Water Feed = Washer Not Filling. This means that there is an issue that is preventing your washer from receiving water into the water inlet valve. The troubleshooting steps below apply to all types of Samsung washing machines including front load, top load, and washer and dryer combos

I have a samsung front load washer. I get an error code nf. What is that?

indicates a water inlet problem or the machine cannot feed itself with water. Make sure the source water tap is turned on and check the water pressure. if its filling with water and just keeps going it can be a leak in the door sensor module as this is a sensor to the the pasher the water pressure and how full it it is. it can also display 4E that is the same code. check that there is water pressure at the inlet to the washer this is the pipe on the back to the water mains supply. it could also mean the switch that lets the water into the washer is not working. but first check that there is water getting it to the washer.

Why 4E error code keep appearing on my Samsung washing machine

The 4E error indicates that the washer hasn't detected enough water coming into the unit. The problem could be in your incoming water line (low water pressure), the washer hoses, the inlet valves, or the sensors that detect the length of time to reach a specific amount of water in the washer. It can even be caused by having the outlet hose positioned too low in the discharge pipe or sink.

First check the obvious possibilities: make sure that the shut-off valves have been opened. If you hear water running into the washer and then into the discharge plumbing after a few minutes, raise the end of the discharge hose to a level above the washer fill level.

Shut-off the incoming water and remove the washer fill hoses. Place a bucket under the hoses and open the shut-off valves. Check that you have good water pressure; the washer is looking for the tub to fill in about 8 minutes. Then turn off the water. Clean the filters in the hose at the shut-off valves and the ones inside the washer at the inlet valve. You may want to replace the washer fill hoses; some anti-flood hoses will constrict if they detect a leak and limit the water pressure.

If the water flow at the hoses is good and isn't exiting the washer, then the problem is either the inlet valve or the water flow sensor. Does any water reach the tub? If it doesn't, check the inlet valve and make sure that it is getting the proper electrical signal from the control unit. If water is reaching the tub, then the problem in the flow sensing system. Some washers use an air tube that helps check the pressure in the system. If this tube is leaking or clogged, the sensor will give incorrect messages. Other systems have a small switch that moves as the water passes through the inlet valve. This can fail.

There can be other problems that give the same symptoms. If you post the model number of your washer, I may be able to point you to the correct diagnostic steps.

My washer gets a 4e message.we have checked the hoses cleaned out meshes.has real good water pressure.it gets the 4e only when it's fixing to wash. if I put it to rinse and spin it will.

Your washer should have a solenoid valve for the cold and hot water. The valves open to allow the water in the drum and will fill the washer according to the load being washed (small, med large, etc.) If the washer does not reach the required level in a measured amount of time, it displays the 4e code. It is possible that one of the solenoids is not completely opening, therefore restricting the flow.

Errpr code 4e on samsun aqua jet vrt

A 4E code on Samsung washers means that the washer isn't filling properly or the sensor isn't detecting the water flow. First, make sure that the water shut-off valves are open. Next make sure that the drain hose outlet is positioned above the fill level of the washer. (This avoids the water being suctioned out of the tub.)

Turn off the shut-off valves and disconnect the fill hoses from the washer and the valves. Clean the filters in the washer and at the valves. Reconnect the hoses to the valve and place a bucket under the other end. Open the valves and check that you have good water flow from both hoses. You may want to replace the hoses. (Some washer fill hoses are designed to clamp shut if they detect a leak. This anti-burst feature will reduce the water flow to a trickle. Since the washer fill sensor detects the amount of water in the tub within 8 minutes, that will trip the error.)

If the washer isn't filling and there is plenty of water coming from the water line, the fill valve probably failed in the closed position. If the water level is rising, then the sensor is probably faulty.

Please add a comment with the full model number of your washer. Then I may be able to point you to the parts. If the washer is under warranty, contact Samsung.

I hope this helps.

Machine operates, then has a 4E error message

The 4E error means that the washer is having a problem with the incoming water. First, check that your shut-off valves are open. Next check your washer hose connection filters for anything blocking the flow. (There are filters inside the connection at the washer and there should be filters at the shut-offs.) Clean the filters, if needed. Make sure that the water is flowing properly (no kinks in the hoses). Also, open the valves and let the water flow into a bucket. Check the flow rate; it needs to be sufficient to fill the washer in under 8 minutes.

Next, try new hoses. (Some hoses will detect leaks and close themselves off.) If that doesn't solve the problem, check that your washer drain hose outlet is not below the level up to which the washer should fill.

If that doesn't help, the inlet valve might be bad. The other possibility is an problem with the reed switch or air line to the flow sensor is leaking.

I hope this helps.

Samsung DMR77LHS Tall Tub Dishwasher displays HE code (flashing) and does not finish the cycle. I am very handy and would like to repair this myself. so as much detail as possible is appreciated.

EE1/HE/HE1
  • The EE and HE codes refer to temperature errors. The EE1 designation refers to a thermistor issue, and the HE codes refer to heater problems. These are all functional errors that require a certified service technician, but disconnecting the circuit breaker in the meantime can prevent the problem from growing worse.
  • 4E/4E1
  • The 4E codes indicate a problem with the water supply. If you see the 4E code, make sure the water supply line is correctly attached and open and not frozen or clogged. If you get a 4E1 code, check the temperature of the incoming water supply and ensure that it is below 176 degrees. If either of these issues persist despite your best efforts, contact a repair center.
  • 5E
  • The 5E code means there is a problem with the drain. Make sure the drain hose and openings are not clogged or obstructed. If they are not, and the code remains, disconnect the circuit breaker to reduce the risk of electric shock and contact a service center.
  • oE/9E
  • The oE and 9E codes refer to issues with the water level. The oE code means that the dishwasher is filling too much, and the 9E code means it is not filling enough. Disconnect the circuit breaker for safety and contact a repair center.
  • LE
  • The LE code indicates a leak. To keep from voiding your warranty, do not attempt to diagnose and repair the leak yourself. Close the water supply valve and disconnect the circuit breaker to avoid electric shock and contact a repair technician.
  • 6E2/PE
  • The 6E2 and PE codes both indicate functional errors that must be repaired by a professional. The 6E2 code indicates a pressed key error, and the PE code refers to a problem with the half-load function. Disconnect the circuit breaker in either case and contact a repair service.

My dishwasher model number dmr77lhb is showing error code le and there are no apparent external water leaks how can I rest

I fixed mine by pulling out the unit then flipping over to access the white tray that covers the bottom of the unit. Remove this then dry it out...there's a sensor in there that triggers the LE code. It could be a leak but in most cases it's just built up condensation. EE1/HE/HE1
