had similar trouble and it can start a FIRE. Try cleaning the vent outside. The shutter doors can be hindered by lint and critters. If cleaning the vent door is not enough, take vent pipes apart and clean them. This should be smooth aluminum pipe not, the corrugated plastic etc.. If this does not cure it, the blower may be clogged or dead inside your machine.
The clean lint screen light is just a dummy light. There is no sensor for that. If it's giving you a AF error then disconnect the vent and run it. If it completes the cycle then it's your vent. If not it's your thermistor.
Wash clothes separately whites and light colors together. Darks with liquid detergent. No lint filter on the machine. I have found some powder detergents do not dissolve completely.
that dryer has boost coils down by the ignitor. You're probably hearing some clicking down there too.....those coils go bad over time just like a light bulb and they will light the first time and generally don't after that cause they overheat. Part number on those coils is 695540 and they usually come in a set for around $20 to $30
You stated you checked all lints roblems. Just to make sure. Did you remove the lint catcher completely on the inside? If not take that off and clead the lint out of the inside of the duct. Also lint can build up inside the lint duct on the rear of the drier and in the duct going outside of your home.
The lent sensor is either dirty or is bad. It could also be the control board that is faulty as well. Unless you know electronics and have the proper testing tools, I would recommend calling a service professional. Hope this helps and that you have a fantastic weekend.
check your owners manual for clearing error codes in trouble shooting on theese electronic models lots of time you have to clear the codes to go back to normal ops by pushing certian buttons on kenmore i dont know which ones they are usaly its clear/cancel buttion some times you have to holld them so many seconds just unplugging it will make it think it has another power failure
