How remove feeder tray from 6600

Hi Ed Walsh,

When you say feeder tray, are you speaking of the document feeder tray, or the paper input tray? The document feeder tray is not customer replaceable so it will not be removable. The input paper tray is however removable. Perhaps you will find the support page for your Officejet 6600 helpful:

How do I change HP Officejet 6600 to analong

I presume you are referring to the fax function. Make sure the telephone cable from your OfficeJet is plugged into an analog phone line (rather than a digital phone line you might have as part of an office PBX phone system) or connect the printer to the port that is designated for fax and analog phone use. There shouldn't be any settings to change as this device only has analog fax.

Trying to replace ink cartridges on my HP Officejet 6600 with replacement cartridges from LD Products. The printer keeps telling me it is defective. I've tried 3 different ones and none of them will

The printer is checking for a valid printer cartridge and apparently can't communicate with the LD products cartridges. I wouldn't recommend buying 3rd party ink at all actually, most just shortens the life of your printer and clogs things up. You should try eBay and find some HP cartridges for less in my opinion.
