Ive forgotten my psn password on my ps3 account

i sold my ps3 on ebay and the guy needs my password. only i forgot it and he wants to set up his own account. help!!!

Sony are either doing a maintenence update or trying to fix the latest update bug that is stopping people from logging on. It will be fixed soon so give it some time and try again later.

Hi the problem is not with your password so dont change any settings ok the problem is not your end everybody else is having the same problem, sony are having some down time at the minute to update their servers and software so just bare with them for a couple of hours and it will be back on shortly.
dont try changing any settings as the problem is their end not yours

their are loads of people asking the same question in the last hour so you are not the only one, you could try going to the sony ps3 web site and check on their for any down time,

i have just got through to sony and they are doing maintenance on the network so just bare with them and it should be back on shortly ok

i just found out the network is down for 12 hours some lucky people may sign in but will soon be cut off its down till 23:30pm GMT time as im in UK time here is now 19:28 so their is another 4 hours left of down time
