I have a Fisher and Pykel dishwasher (not dishdrawers) with Error code E30. How do I access the flood pan and switch? The dishwasher is fine, I flooded the counter and it flowed into the dishwasher.

SOURCE: HOw do you reset the

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa.
When the flood switch has been activated you’ll need to reset it by powering off the breaker or by unplugging the unit from the power socket and mains for more than five minutes. Please check that there is no blockage in the drain hose and it is not raised higher otherwise the water will run back to the dishwasher. Also perform the following procedure---

    • Unplug power and remove bottom dish drawer
    • Use a Sponge and dry all the excess water underneath
    • Remove circuit board cover
    • Dry all around and underneath as much as possible
    • Apply hairdryer for 10-15min

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I have a Fisher paykel late model Dwk60 dishwasher, that keeps getting the error code E30, flood switch activated with the alarm and won't reset, I found online that you tilt the machine backwards

You have to turn the power off, clean that cesspool drain area thoroughly, dry all around the door seal, and tip dishwasher backwards. Then the flood switch resets and the E30 error disappeared for me.

Dishwasher error f1

The manual states that fault code F1 means that the flood switch has been activated. They recommend turning off the water and power to the unit and calling them. Their phone number is: 1.888.936.787

My husband put toilet bowel cleaner in the dishdrawers last night to get rid of the hard water deposits. This morning he tried it again and the dishdrawers are constantly beeping and a red light is on. ...

Sounds like an extreme case of oversudsing! The flood switch located at the back on the bottom pan under the bottom draw. To remove bottom draw you need to push the runner clips in on each side and slide back. The runner clips are located on each side at the front just behind the front panel. Once the draw is out, Remove the excess water from the pan (Throughly) and presto!

Hey got a set of dishdraws and when ever we turn on it starts beeping and flashing F1

F1 Error is the Flood Switch. This Usualy mens there is a leak that has Triped the flote switch.

There are many things that could be leaking to cause this.

You should have a pro look at this machine.

Our F & P dishdrawer keeps coming up with f1 and a picture of a spanner have tried turning the machine of at the switch for 24hr but is still doing it

Water has collected at the base of the dishwasher under the drawer.
This triggers a flood switch and causes the F1 error.

Turn the mains power off and extend the drawer out as much as possible. Take towels to dry the base from inside. Also use hair dryer ot dry out the flood switch mounted at the base.

Turn the power on and see if there is any difference. The cause of water collection could be many. Foam in detergent or kink in drain hose or drawer door gasket leaking etc.

I have a fisher paykel dishdrawer dishwasher that i get a F1 error code then it shuts down i have dried up the bottom tray but it will only work for about 1 week and it does it again

Perhaps you need to find out the source of the problem. The F1 code is due to the flood switch at the base of the housing getting triggered by water collecting. You could have a cracked hose or broken actuator arm (this is piece of plastic at the back of the drawer that holds the wires and hoses) Moisture can get to the flood switch if foaming occurs due to incorrect detergent powder being used.

Good luck

Hi Both drawers show error F1 flashing beeping with rinse light on and both pumps run after power is applied to machine

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

My f & p dishdrawer model DD603 has fault code F1:

Yes, you need to gain access to the inside bottom panel of the dishdrawer and drain/dry the water in the bottom panel. When all of the water is gone the polystyrene block will lower and turn off the flood system. You then need to find the reason the unit flooded and rectify it or the unit will just do the same thing again.
