At this moment there are no programs to work with the LG Shine.
I know it is bad news, but the USB/Phone cable only helps you transferring files from your PC to an extra needed Micro SD card in the phone.

this is not a feature of your phone. You are looking for usb tether, wifi tether or bluetooth tether. These are usually smart phone only options.

I have an old model tv, LG 42LC2D LCD TV. It used to connect to netflix, hulu, etc bc I paid for cable & had a cablebox. Now cable has gotten too expensive and I cut it off.
well you have no ISP internet at all;
so only path is CELL
so in the CELL setting, enable, tethering,
4k netflix will fail
ROKU is best in the world, I have 3 hear, and player work now for 8 years no probs.

but tethering will cause you huge data overage bills
call your Cell phone provider and have this discussion.
or get real internet. (no data caps)
I too am cable TV free, for huge long time, but have internet fast.

How do I connect LG K7 to HDTV
You need to buy chromecast or any similar device. Connect it to your hdtv using hdmi connection. While wifi is on, you can cast what your watching in the phone by pressing the cast symbol on your phone screen.

you can also try pressing the google home icon in your phone and select cast your phone to your tv.

There are lots of video samples in casting your phone to your tv using chromecast or other similar devices like roku, etc in youtube.

Can i hook up speakers to an lg e2340v moniter to watch netflix? i have it hooked up through hdmi. I have no sound though.
The monitor does not have sound passthru feature so the speakers would not be able to work that way. You can connect the speakers to the Roku box in the audio out jacks. You will need to get a cable from radio shack to make the connection.
