M2 means Time to replace your consumables (drum,developer,cleaning blade,drum charge assy & cleaning pad) after replacement reset it to Tech rep mode.

1.Entering the Tech.Rep.Mode

a) Press the Utility key.
b)Touch Meter Count.
c)Press the following keys in this order : Stop - 0 - 0 -Stop - 0 - 1.
d)Select Tech.Rep.Mode.
2.Resetting the maintenance code:
M2 Waste toner box
Resetting procedure:
a)Enter the Tech.Rep.mode.
b)Select "Counter".
c)Select "Consumables".
d)Select the count of waste toner.
e)Press the clear key.

You can reset (M2) by reset clear data
Enter to service mode By Pressing :
Utility - clear -0 - 0 - clear -0 - 1
Press ADJUST
Press CLEAR DATA
Turn OFF Copier and Switch it ON

[OFF] ON/C] clears display, errors, all pending operations, constant calculations K, and STAT, but not M1, M2,and M3. Sets DEG angle units, floating-decimal format.
To clear memory M1 : Store 0 in 1
0 [STO] 1 clears M1
0[STO] 2 clears m2
0 [STO] 3 clears M2

remove power lead and internal battery for 5 mins then replace all and it will be reset to manufacturer date and settings

M2 is a maintenance code, it is usually tied to one of the machines consumable products, drum, developer, or fuser rollers. These items should be checked before attempting to reset the code.
