it is adjustable and has adjusting screws to reset readings but you have to have a power supply that is accurate to test it with, to reset ohm values you may use a resistor from radio shack to measure resistance. get a 5 ohm resistor and a 10,000 ohm resister with a gold 5% band to test the unit. If you need help setting up the testing for amps and ac and DC voltages reply to this post and I will give you instructions on how to set the meter to read within .2 tolerance.
it will have to be replaced. any repair could change resistance if checking ohms and change any readings it will take. look up ohms law online and it will explain the relationship between voltage,amperage, and ohms
