I have a vizio xvt553sv tv that I bought in 2010. As of December 1 my ROKU no longer works on the TV. Will the Fire TV stick with 4K work on my old visio tv?

Hello threefreecol, This is a common problem related to the capacitors on the power supply board. What you can do is to take the back off of the TV and look to see if any of the capacitors on the power supply board are bloated or puffy (signs of damaged capacitors). If they are change them out with new ones (you are going to need a soldering iron and a desoldering pump to do this). In any event this is a power supply problem. I believe your TV is still under warrenty, so you may want to take it to a shop the honors the VIZIO warrenty program. Hi,

There is no specific code for different models, but the codes for Vizio TVs are:

10864, 10885, 11756, 10178

Try each of the above codes until you find the one that works or works best, i.e. controls most functions. White remotes RC16, RC23, and RC24 may not be programmable to some newer TV models.

Ur universal remote have codes problems,low in batteries or replacement batteries have problems with codes.Re enter the codes again,for ur tv model.

I agree that 6 days is a very short life span for the flash. Your camera is defective and you should take advantage of the warranty since it's probably too late to return it.

Since unplugging will not work, take the remote click on SETUP and go through general as well as picture. See if you cannot make it better.
