PUK code is provided by your cellular network operator, should be on
the same paperwork as your PIN code. It's related to the SIM card, not to the phone. It is used to unlock a SIM card in case the PIN has been entered wrong 3 times. It then allows you to set a new PIN code.
Some operators issue only the PUK number and no predefined PIN, so you can set your own PIN from the start.
If it's not there, or you lost the
papers, you'll need to contact the operator's hotline to get it.
Please come back and rate the solution if helped or post a comment for further assistance.

PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways -
The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity.

Aren't you lucky Iam bored... None of the answers so far are correct. Your SIM is locked, so either you entered the wrong code 3 times or you haven't activated your phone yet. PUK is 8 digits, sometimes on the back of your SIM card paperwork. If you entered the code wrong 3 times, you have to call customer service to give you an unlocking code.
If your phone is activated & your bill is up-to-date do this= Turn phone off, take sim out, restart phone (won't work), turn off, wait 10 sec, put sim in (make sure it's in correctly & SD is in correctly (if you have one), turn phone on. If your phone is activated, your paid up & that didn't work- and you can't find the code on you sim card paper, call customer service and they will give you an unlocking code.
