SOURCE: Kenmore top load washer spin problem
its possible you have a bad clutch assy, or perahps something stuck between the outer and ineer tub(i.e. sock) preventing free spin of unit, the clutch is mounted on top of the transmission assy and requires a little bit of work to acess, im sure you can find a video on you tube as to how to acess that

SOURCE: kenmore washer spin cycle doesn't leave clothes dry
SOUNDS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT ALWAYS SHIFTING INTO HIGH SPEED MODE,TRY A MED. SIZE LOAD AND SEE WHAT THAT DOES,TRANSMISSION MIGHT JUST BE GETTING OLD WHIH IS NORMAL-MIKE
SOURCE: Kenmore front load washer will not spin
Although I had just cleaned the filter about 5 weeks ago, my wife had recently washed a pillow that came apart in the wash. I did not know this but noticed the clothes dripping wet after the high speed cycle. I was thinking it was the drain problem like I read in the post from bluefuzz. I pulled the filter and it was LOADED full. Before calling the repairman, CHECK YOUR FILTER! You won't need to disconnect any hoses.
SOURCE: washer is not spinning fast
Most washers have a speed limiter in them to prevent the unit from damaging itself "IF" it is severely out of balance. Your solution is to redistribute the load, so it will not be out of balance and/or wash smaller loads so the machine can redistribute the load itself.
Hope this helps..
Kindly,
Jim
