To verify if it is indeed a a failed new stat. Take the white wire and red and wire nut together at the stat. Red-R/RC, white-w, yellow-y, green-g. Verify this is how it’s wired on the board of the furnace as well. If it fires and runs with the wires nutted together you could have one a few problems going on. 1) failed new stat (dont happen often and I’ve been doing HVAC/R for 15+ years.) 2) break in wiring going to furnace. 3) stat programming may not be correct.

Red is usually hot side of transformer, yellow is for the a/c compressor, white is for heater, green is for the blower fan,now the blue could be energize for heat or the common side for the transformer, brown can also be the common side of the transformer. It sounds like you need the blue wire connected to the common side for the thermostat....but be careful. Some units use this as a energize wire and are not a common. I would find out what furnace model you have then look online and double check what this wire is or you could damage the new thermostat and/or the 24 volt system on your fau. And also always have the power to the unit disconnected so you do not ground a circuit.

The only way to resolve this problem and to distingush if its a thermostat issue on the system is to by pass the thermostat by putting a jumper between the hotwire and the heating wire if the system did run which happen most of the time. Call the HVAC technician to check your heating unit. Or call the White- Rodgers technical line at 18887259797 choose contrator division.

the dommed part of the T-stat goes up, it won't go in backwards as memory serves me, what u almost certainly have going on here is the Air temperature control electric bend door actuator s defective, and the door is stuck in the cold air position in the heating/ac duct, to replace this the dash must be removed from the car..

There is a fuse inside the cover of the microwave. You will need to remove the outer shell and follow the power cord you will see an inline fuse. This fuse can be purchased at any appliance parts house.
Hope this helped
