SOURCE: front load washer leak

This could be the rubber seal or the door lock. If the door lock is not pulling it tightly closed then it needs to be replaced. Check the seal really closely and make sure there are not cracks and it does not look deformed

SOURCE: lg front load washer leaking from bottom of machine

I just fixed this problem - there is a rubber hose that hooks the bottom of the drum to the drain and recycle pumps - it is ribbed and it developed a hole. To confirm and repair (repair can be done from the front of the machine)

  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Drain whatever water you can from the machine using the stoppered hose behind the bottom left panel
  3. Unscrew the visible screw holding the plastic in place near the drain hose and filter
  4. If you can pull the plastic recessed piece out, there is one screw visible behind it - unswcrew this. If you cannot pull it out now, you should be able to get it after you remove the screws in step 10
  5. Pull out the detergent drawer (push in the middle back "botton" to release the drawer to pull out fully)
  6. Unscrew two screws in the drawer area.
  7. Pull the top of the electronics assembly away from the machine and lift the assembly out (place on top of the machine or hook it out of the way)
  8. Open the door and remove the spring loaded wire around the door seal (be careful as the seal can be torn)
  9. Pull the seal away from the metal front panel, then close the door
  10. Remove four screws at the top of the front panel (that were behind the eletronics assembly) - If you already have removed the screw from step 4, proceed, otherwise lean the top of front panel out and pop the plastic out, hold panel in place and remove that bottom screw from step 4.
  11. Lift front panel about two inches, swing the entire front panel to the right and set against something - You should now be able to see inside the machine.
  12. There is a black hose right in the middle - when I squeezed mine a little, I could see where the water was dripping out from the bottom.
  13. There are three clamps - two that can be squeezed with pliers and removed, one that has to be unscrewed (phillips head screw - it is a bit blind as the screw faces the back of the machine) - Once I got mine off - I could see the hole.
  14. Order replacement and reassmble in the opposite order

SOURCE: LG front load washer -- water leaks

First, clean off the bottom of the door glass where it contacts the gray tub gasket when the door closes. Any hair or other build up can result in leakage. Second, if that does not completely solve your leak, you can move the location of the spring which holds the tub gasket from the very bottom (6 O'clock position) to the hinge area (9 O'clock position). Third: Sometimes, the reason you get a leak is due to the installation. If the washer was pushed into place by applying pressure in the center front of the washer, the outer front panel can be slightly deformed (inwerd) resulting in leakage from the door. If that is the case, sometimes you can remove the outer clamp and outer part of the gray seal and pull out on the front panel to correct the situation if it is not too severe, rather than replacing the entire front panel.

SOURCE: LG wm2101hw 4.0 cu.ft front load washer is leaking

same problem. LG stated I am using too much soap. Cant be because it still does it with no soap. Also have issues with spinning on bed comforter and also drum will not drain. I can wring out a 16oz of water from a cotton shirt sitting in the bottom of drum when completed. Floor is flooded and I am **********. Bought in April 2010 and have had 4 techs out to look at it, but there is no problem. Biggest waste of 600 I ever spent.

LG true steam inverter direct drive 9 kg f1479fds5 on a screen AE error what s happend

The AE error is indicative that there is a leak somewhere in the washer and it has triggered the flood protection device found at the bottom of the machine. What you should do is find out if there is indeed a leak. Try tilting it forward and find out if water will run out. If you can see water leaking from the water, call a repairman!

LG Tromm WM2277 leaking from back bottom

The last spin is the final Emptying phase. There has to be a leak somewhere in the exiting water route. All tubing and the water pump along with all clamps will need to be checked for integrity.

Significant water leaks through the bottom on the front side as soon as cycle starts. Already cleaned out the filter and hose from bottom right corner. Any suggestions? LG Model WM0532HW

Check that the door seal hasn't got a split or hole in it. Check between the bowl and the front panel. The water must be coming from somewhere. could be a hole in the outer drum itself or it could be the detergent drawer overflowing.... As a last resort... Carefully take off the top by unscrewing the screws at the rear, bump the top panel back to unclip it and VERY carefully look while the machine fills. DO NOT TOUCH as there is bare wiring...Remember water and electricity make a shocking combination!!! ....Nomess

Compressor and fan working but no water

Take the bucket out and remove the two (black colored phillips head) screws at the bottom of the front panel, just above where the bucket was. Push the bottom of the panel to the side a bit to release the retaining tabs from the metal side panels and pull the bottom of the panel forward to remove the panel from the top tabs, leaving wires attached. Put the bucket back in place and observe the coils while compressor and fan run for several minutes (5 to 10 minutes will do). If coils do not get cold, or only get cold over a small area, you have a refrigerant leak. A refrigerant leak is not economical to repair. Most dehumidifiers have a 5 year sealed system warranty, so round up your receipt and call LG with the model and serial number (located on a sicker behind the bucket) to get an exchange unit. Going from memory here, but I think you can reach LG at 1-800-256-0000.

LG Dishwasher - drain hose replacement

Hello, I have just installed a similar model, and took the side panel off to see how it was put together ;)

The drain hose goes in the back of the dishwasher, then loops up the right side (as you are looking at the front)(this is to act as a "trap" to keep sewer gases from coming back into your washer, I assume), and then connects to the drain pump under the washer.

In order the change the hose, you will need to remove the left side panel, and the bottom panel, and this will give you access to the entire hose....

Hope this helps!

LG WD-8016C Front Load Washer leaks from the bottom

Crawls, usually all leaks are visible. Im surprised the repairman did not actually get to the source of it. Your drain pump sits on the bottom and it possibly could be the filter cap, hoses to the pump or pump itself. Another area to check is the despensor. There are a number of hoses to this which could be leaking. The bellow itself could have a cut in it somewhere along the bottom. I would call the repairman back and have him at least get to the source of the leak...Catriver..post back.
