Is this tv have a 3d view mode ?
I reckon you have turned this on without wearing the 3d glasses
Testimonial: "No. It's not a 3d tv, and it's not a typical image you get when viewing 3d without glasses. It a perfectly clear image with the screen split exactly in the centre and two equal images appearing clearly at the same time. As if you were viewing two smaller tv's side by side. Everything, sound, image resolution, audio matching picture, channels, etc. work properly."

There are no adjustments for this problem,if the unit has been working good for 3 years and suddenly gives you this pix is time to call a qualified technician, among many reasons you might have loose solder conections in the horizontal drive circuit or poor regulation problem in the power supply,if you dont know how and where be safe and call a Technician.

It appears that it has something to do with Progressive Scan been turned on. Progressive Scan is a feature built in your dvd player, wich by using it, it would give you a better picture//resolution on your tv, you need to use Component or HDMI cables to hook up the dvd to your tv if you want this settings, but if you are using composite RCA cables (Red,White & Yellow) and the Progressive funtion is turned on by accident, it may give you a split screen, black & white, or no picture problems. Also if you are using Component (Blue, Green & Red) cables, if one of them is unplug, the picture can be out of colors, or no picture. Check this things, if not, write back with more details about your set up.
it is probably the x and y panels
very expensive!!

Its most likely going to be a D board or a C2 board, I had vertical lines on mine got the service manual and it breaks the screen down into squares, well I had a problem where the lines were all over, stuck pixels ect, replaced the D board and all is well, fix was quoted at 300 by a local shop friend after I told him my problem so it would be worth the tech to fix it. If you could do it yourself (it is pretty simple) the boards are cheap on ebay.
