SOURCE: problems with the window mount that comes with the Garmin 360

You just have to push the ball part on the window mount into the socket part that holds the GPS. It's pretty tight, so you have to press pretty hard.

SOURCE: Garmin Suction Cup (Rubber)

Put a drop of dishwashing detergent and a few drops of water on the rubber and distribute it evenly before You mount it to the windshield. This mixture enhances the suction power and keeps the rubber soft. Repeat after 3-4 months! If You don't like the look of it on the outside of the window, put a smiley sticker on it! :-)

SOURCE: I got the standard mount with TomTom GO 730 and it

This is a fairly common issue especially with aftermarket tinted car windscreen 'film'.
You can try prolong the suction by wetting the suction cup with water of very slightly soapy water before applying it to your 'clean' windscreen area.
As for the dashboard, for some models, TomTom provide a plastic circle to which the suction cup attach to. The plastic circle is first 'permanently' attached to your dashboard with double-sided adhesive tapes.
Hope it helps: let me know how you go.

SOURCE: Suction cup does not stick to the base.

  1. If you will stick the suction cup to your windshield make sure to clean it first use dry clothe and put pressure while rubbing it to the windshield.
  2. After cleaning it before you stick the suction cup to the windshield make sure the lock is release and then put a pressure and then while pressing it then that's the time you will lock it.

How do i attach my garmin nuvi 1350 to my garmin bean bag friction mount.

You just need to take the suction cup windshield mount and attach it to the hard plastic disc on the bean bag, then attach the gps to it.

When I pulled my Garmin off the windshiled the rubber pice that connects to the mount came out of the mount. How to fix

the piece you speak of is not serviced and the plastic bracket it attaches to is broken, there is no way to fix this and trust it, if the glue joint fails and the Garmin falls off and gets damaged you will have just ruined a $200 GPS, u can replace the mount, contact garmin at www.mygarmin.com for a replacement.

Plastic pholder for my Garmin 255W will not stick to windshield

The glass and attachment suction cup should be clean and free of oils, dust hair etc. Try cleaning both surfaces. If this doesn't workyou can order a new holder from Garmin.

Dashboard mount

I put a little water on the suction cup, and attached to the windshield. Seems to help a little.

Still dangerous. The thing can fall while driving.

350 disk

The adhesive disk is for attaching to a dashboard, not a windshield.  The unit is supplied with a suction cup for use on a windshield.
