Is the Pandigital SCN02 Photolink One-Touch Scanner compatible with Windows 8?

Are you using it currentrly? What is your current Operating System? I've been searching and can't see anywhate a windows 8 driver for this scanner.
Bu let me tell you, I'm using currently a Genius ColorPage, originally released for windows 98. Installed windows 2000 driver in compatibility mode for findows XP. There is no driver for Windows XP nor for Windows 7 and coldn't make it work in Windows 7. So I run it on a computer with dual bootWindows XP / Windows 7.
When I need to scan, I simply start up as windows XP. When finished scanning, reboot to windows 7
I Have Windows 7 on a 2 Tb HD SATA and Windows XP on 200 Mb IDE. Is more economical to have a dual boot then buy a new Scanner.
If your scanner won't run on windows 8, install on another HD or a partiton, Windows 7. doual boot Windows 7 / 8 work like a dream.

Replacements?

If you go to www.pandigital.net and click on all personal photo scanners/converters, you'll see a picture of your scanner. Click on it. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and there'll be options including downloads. Click on downloads and you'll have to know your product specifications to get the right one, but the manuals are all there, in all languages, so make sure you get English. Hope this helps a little.

Pandigital mini photo scanner pictures have white lines on them

have a pandigital scanner that worked great for about 500 pics then lines stared to show up, tried cleaning and calibrating but did not help, decided to take apart and found that the glass on the surface of the scan part was dirty, cleaned the glass and put back together works perfect, took about 10 minutes to fix
