I have a Craftsman 27cc straight shaft gas weedwacker that starts but when pulling the trigger dies. I have replaced the fuel lines and the fuel filter.

The air filter was replaced prior to replacing the fuel filter and lines. I have with the exception of when I first purchased it always use 40:1 premix 2 cycle fuel.

SOURCE: The weedwacker dies when I squeeze the throttle trigger

You need to clean the carburetor. Remove and disassemble carb. Use a den Tek Brush, (used to clean between teeth), to clean the small portals in carb. Use a carb. cleaner while cleaning. Make sure the small screen in carb. is free of debris. The smallest of paticles can cause the carb. not to run right. Reassemble the carb. and try starting. If there is no change, then you will need to buy a carb. kit for your trimmer. Replace all appropriateparts: gaskets, diaphragm, needle valve, and the small screen.

you need to adjust the high speed needle turn it out in 1/4 increments as you throttle it, low speed may have to come out alittle but do high speed first. I had to answer this as I use to have a pastor john in sturgeon bay, miss him alot.

SOURCE: craftsman 32cc would not idle

If you are certain that you have correcting gaped the plug then the next step is to readjust the low end idle carburetor. If you look you should see two holes in the plastic cover that lead to the flow adjustment screws they may even be out in the open. If they are not labeled H and L (the L is the one you want), check your manual for the correct one. A good place to start is turning the screw all the way in then backing it out 1 1\2 turns. Then check it. If you still have problems do 1\4 turns out. After about one full turn from that you might want to consider taking the carburetor off and removing the float bowl or the bottom for a good cleaning. A sticking float could cause problems with your fuel flow.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Craftsman model 358.791042, gasoline weedwacker wont stay running

The high speed needle valve needs adjusting and it takes a special splined tool to adjust it. I currently am trying to find where I can purchase the tool to adjust the high and low carburator screws.

My craftsman weedwacker 27cc curved shaft wont start and cant figure it out

I need to ask. Did you leave fuel mix in it for a long time? If so then the carburetor will need to be cleaned with a special cleaner. and not the spray can stuff.

You need three things. Spark, compression and fuel. Pull the spark plug and make sure it is not fouled and you have spark when cranking. Put your finger over the spark plug hole and feel for compression while pulling the engine over. There is a reed valve between carb and block that clogs and prevents fuel from getting to cylinder.

Fuel want pull into bulb on my craftsman 27cc weedwacker #711200

There are 2 fuel lines going into the back of the primer bulb. One line goes from the back of the bulb into the fuel tank, and the other goes from the back of the bulb into the carburetor. I believe that the line that goes into the fuel tank has disconnected from the back of the bulb. You will need to remove the bulb, find the line that dropped off of the bulb and into the tank, and reconnect the line to the back of the bulb.

No spark

To test the spark you will need a spark plug tester. Put one end of the tester on the spark plug and the other in the plug wire. Pull the cord and see if fire is there. If not you will need to replace the coil.

How do figure out gas line goes

Two lines, one thin the other thicker. The thin line is attached to the fuel filter, and is the intake for fuel. The other is the return, which has to be attached to the tube under the primer bulb.
