SOURCE: Just got a Dewalt D51825 Framing Nailer that takes

Your nailer uses a very common and lowest price nail when using bright nails. Other varieties are expensive, stainless, twisted, galvanized, so if you are a big user not a problem. I on the other-hand do not use very many nails in a years time. A case of nails will last couple of years. A box of stainless or galvanized will be an expensive proposition. Because of the weight of case of nails, shipping is very expensive unless you find speicals. At www.toolbarn.com , you will get free shipping for orders of $200 (less than 70lbs). Best bet is to find local dealers, and right now because of the economy, special pricing. Look for deals on broken cases of nails. I usually find broken/open cases of nails at Lowes for half price. Buy what ever you come accross that is a good price because nails have a long shelf life if you can keep them dry. Good holiday

I would check the tension on the spring that pulls the nails into position. Make sure that when the rack of nails is out, that the loading mechanism is reaching the top of the gun. I would also recommend that you oil the gun prior to each use. If you are using it regularly through outt the day, then I would definitely recommend oiling it through out the day.

SOURCE: bought hitachi nr90ad nail gun

Use 34 degree, paper collated, clipped head nails. They were always the most common strip nails years ago as Senco, Paslode, and a number of other nailers used them.

SOURCE: Can you use 30 degree nails in a Porter Cable FC350 34 degree nailer?

Yes, you can use 30 degree clipped head nails in the Porter-Cable FC350 framing nailer. The FC350A and FC350B nailers are newer models that specify the 30-34 degree clipped head nails. Make sure that the nails are between 2' - 3 1/2" in length. The manuals for each of the later models do not explicitly list the 30 degree nails. Their specifications page do list the 30 degree nails. See http://www.portercable.com/Products/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=11542 and https://www.homedepot.com/p/Porter-Cable-3-1-2-in-30-Degree-to-34-Degree-Clipped-Head-Framing-Nailer-FC350B/203555581 . The manual for the FC350 is available here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/132288/Porter-Cable-Fc350.html . It is the same as the manual for the FC350B, https://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfimages/7e/7e0d0f88-a9e7-4411-ad0f-7fc5c1c1fbaa.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I’m having trouble loading 21/2 inch nails in nai gun

Do you have the right nails for your gun? Some guns use 28 degree nails, others 30 degree and so forth. They are not interchangeable. And 2 1/2" nails will not fit in a gun designed for 2 1/4" nails. Also make sure your gun is kept well oiled.

Just bought BOSTITCH F33PT Nailer but cant find 33 degree nails. Found Paslode nails that supposedly work for 30-35 degree nailers. Will these work?

Yes,it will use any of the nails that are 31 to 33 degree, you will have no problems. Do NOT use 28 degree nails, they will jam.

Can My FC 350 A used 28 degree nails

The manual for your gun specifies 34-degree nails from 2 to 3 1/2 inches long. 28-degree, wire collated nails are a Stanley-Bostitch thing and they only work in their nail guns, they will not work in your nail gun. You need 34-degree, paper-tape collated nails. I know Senco framing nails will work in your gun and I think Duo-fast makes 34-drgree nails but check that before buying them.

I have seen many nails that supposedly fit the senco sn4 nail gun. Some are 31 degree, some are 33 degree. All have paper collating. What angle nails should I search for to fit the senco sn4?

Senco uses 33 degree paper tape clip head, however many generic brands will label their box 30-34 degree to fit several nailers. This practice causes jams in some guns and others work fine. The goal is to save money but could cost more in the long run if gun is damaged. You can use generic (other than 33) if you take a strip of nails and place them against the outside of the rails aligned with either the line of driver path of angle of the rails. This will give you a visual as to the alignment. Best result is when the complete nail is in line with the path of driver. Next best result is when the head is in the path of driver and point of nail is slightly away from path, worst is when point hits path and head is back. Good luck

Wiil a 22 degree Paorter Cable FR350A Round Head

No... it will fire 21-degree nails and perhaps 23-degree nails (but sont think they exist) and it is a full-head framing nailer so it is designed for firing round head nails. Using clipped nails will likely jam the nailer as these nails are stripped closer together with overlapping heads in the nail strip and the FR350A has a full round driver so you will run into issues with clipped nails. If you are having problems finding full round head nails, you can find them on Amazon to fit this nailer. Otherwise any good tool or trade tool store that sells nailers will likely have a suitable nail supply available for the FR350A.

What is the angle of the nail we use with this nailer

if thats a hitachi nr90ad, then you should be using 30 degree paper taped clipped headed nails,, never use plastic or wire collated nails in that gun,, some boxes might say 30 up to 34 degree and thats fine, also in a lot of areas clipped headed nails are no longer code, so they made the nails full headed, the head is just off set,,

Will bosch nail guns operate with Paslode brand nails?

The F28WW takes 28Deg nails that are collated with wire, so your nails won't work in that gun. The N80SB is also a 28Deg nailer so your 30 Deg nails won't work in that gun either. Sorry about the bad news but it looks like your going to have to spring for new nails
