Try reversing this breakdown process (the first four steps).

I'm assuming the unit is not broken.

The opening of this dispenser is controlled by a wax motor for release. If you are unable to keep the latch shut you are probably looking at the spring and latch assy. This is not a hard job, but you have to open the inner door to get at the latch. Part numbers for the spring disp. flap is 912547. The latch (inside door) is 99001291. If you take your time and observe carefully the job will be easy. Catriver, post back.

you mean where you put the regular HE soap in? That slot is normal to overflow. The water carries the soap down (Lift the little doohickie up, it's removable for powder deterg.), and it carries it all the way to the tub...Unless i don't get it...but I'm reading the phrase "Its like the water will not go down to the tub.", and it makes me think the whole tray is overfilling with water..if this is the case, I can't help you, but filling over of the Main HE Soap tray is normal. (Just a little, if the whole thing starts filling uncontrollably, hit the power button.)

Remove dispencer again, remove conditioner syphon assembly and clean up the little tube. Should then go okay

Hello, I worked on a problem like this a few days ago. Your problem is going to be a blockage in the inlet to the drum. To fix this problem find the inlet pipe normally located above the door behid a flap of rubber..push your fingers up there to see if you can feel a blockage..If not your going to have to remove the lid of the machine to access the pipe that leads from the detergent drawer to the tub. Look at the rear top of the machine..You will see three screws....remove them and push back and lift the top panel (lid) now you should be able to access the pipe. Pull the pipe off and clean it out, i suspect you will find a sock blocking the pipe :) If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck! Mike

Thank you for your inquiry, cheryl!
I understand that you have removed your soap dispenser on your Electrolux washer and are having a challenge getting it back into place. It should go back into place once lined up. If you continue you having an issue I would suggest having a professional technician out to your home for proper install of the dispenser. Good luck. -Matt
Hello royal37 - Hi - The dispenser drawer could either be cracked or have a broken latch due to interference between the drawer front and top panel. Contact a professional to move forward accurately and might possibly need to order a service kit (PN: 137146000/part number may be different depending on your model number).
First rub some bleach around the door gasket. Let this dry. Next rub some vinegar around the door gasket. Let this dry. (Do NOT mix the bleach and vinegar) Then run a hot empty load of bleach in all three dispensers. Put 1/2 cup of bleach in the detergent dispenser and fill the softener and bleach dispenser to the max fill line with bleach. Once that is done repeat the process with vinegar. Please make sure you run a load of towels or some sort of items that will not matter if you get a little bleach on them once this process is done.
